I had such a blast photographing Cindy and her family last week. Cindy is one of my friends from a Women’s Entrepreneur Group and I have know her for the past several years. I remember Cindy reaching out to me a few years ago when her son was leaving for the army. She wanted to take some outdoor lifestyle family photographs of them together but somehow that did not work out. Everytime we would meet during our monthly entrepreneurial group meetings, Cindy would always mention that some day she would love for me to come take pictures of her family when all the kids are together again.
Fast forward to last weekend and that moment finally arrived. A family get-together for a graduation had everyone at home at the same time. This session literally got schedule in less than 48 hours. The whole family was so easy going and funny! – even the pups joined in the photoshoot and it was a complete family portrait after all!
Cindy had not seen her son in over a year and I could see this mama bear was so proud of him in just the way she looked at him!
Coffee-loving pups and family conversations on the front porch are what the Sellentins are all about 🙂

I love lifestyle photos, really shows the personality of the family! My family reunion is actually outside of Chicago later this summer, I have to talk to everyone about it but I think I found our photographer!
